چکیده
Supramolecular polymer gels show promise for use in batteries, supercapacitors, and multifunctional sensors. However, their poor stiffness ionic conductivity hinder large-scale utilization. Here, a cellulose-based supramolecular bio-polymer gel (SBPG) with high exceptional is reported. These properties have been translated into proof-of-concept iontronic pressure sensors an ultra-high sensitivity of 1 475 000 kPa−1. The technological potential demonstrated via fabrication prototype smart glove using only eight based on this novel gel. Smart 90% classification accuracy object recognition are tactile feedback algorithm.

Iontronic microdroplet array for flexible ultrasensitive tactile sensing.
An iontronic microdroplet array (IMA) device, using an ultra-large interfacial capacitance at the highly elastic droplet-electrode contact, has been proposed for flexible tactile sensing applications. The transparent IMA sensors consist of an array of nanoliter droplets sandwiched between two polymeric membranes with patterned transparent electrodes, forming the electrical double layers with re...
متن کاملObject Recognition Using Tactile Array Sensors
In this dissertation, we explore the use of tactile force sensors to understand properties of the surfaces of objects they are pressed against. We develop a model of such sensors as imaging devices, which facilitates the use of techniques from computer vision and image processing with the “tactile images” they provide. The goal is object recognition, and three approaches are presented for disti...
متن کاملObject Recognition and Localization: The Role of Tactile Sensors
Tactile sensors, because of their intrinsic insensitivity to lighting conditions and water turbidity, provide promising opportunities for augmenting the capabilities of vision sensors in applications involving object recognition and localization. This paper presents two approaches for haptic object recognition and localization for ground and underwater environments. The first approach called Ba...
متن کاملNonholonomic Object Tracking with Optical Sensors and Object Recognition Feedback
Robotic controllers frequently operate under constraints. Often, the constraints are imperfectly or completely unknown. In this paper, the Lagrangian dynamics of a planar robot arm are expressed as a function of a globally unknown constraint. Optical sensors are utilized to produce estimates of local constraints. These sensors guide the end effecter over the unknown object. This learning phase ...
متن کاملSelf-powered, ultrasensitive, flexible tactile sensors based on contact electrification.
Tactile/touch sensing is essential in developing human-machine interfacing and electronic skins for areas such as automation, security, and medical care. Here, we report a self-powered triboelectric sensor based on flexible thin-film materials. It relies on contact electrification to generate a voltage signal in response to a physical contact without using an external power supply. Enabled by t...
